Dr. Stephanie Clements is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. She specializes in the treatment of skin cancer, including basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, melanoma, and other rare forms of skin cancer, but also sees patients for general dermatology. She thrives on providing compassionate, patient-centered, evidence-based care.

Dr. Clements is a Maryland native, originally from Annapolis. She attended Broadneck High School and graduated with honors from the College of William and Mary in Virginia, where she also played Division I lacrosse. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed an Internal Medicine Internship at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore.

Dr. Clements completed her dermatology residency at the University of Maryland, where she served as the Chief Resident. She then completed her Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology fellowship at nationally-recognized Scripps Clinic in San Diego, CA under Dr. Hugh Greenway, who trained with Dr. Frederic Mohs (the inventor of Mohs surgery). During her fellowship, she was a part of a multidisciplinary team of specialists including Head and Neck Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Oncology, and Radiation Oncology. She also received extensive training in laser and cosmetic dermatology. She is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American College of Mohs Surgery. She was named Annapolis Top Doc by What’s Up? Magazine for 2023-2024 and 2025-2026.

Dr. Clements and her husband live in Severna Park with their two daughters and chocolate Labrador, Millie. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, running, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Dr. Lesley Sutherland is an Annapolis native. She grew up on the Chesapeake Bay and has been an active sailor and boater throughout her childhood and adult life. She is a graduate of Severn School in Severna Park and attended Connecticut College where she was a member of the competitive collegiate sailing team. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and completed an Internal Medicine Internship at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Her dermatology residency was completed at the University of Maryland and she was formally a clinical instructor to University of Maryland Dermatology residents at the Baltimore VA Medical Center.

She is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Maryland Dermatology Society. Her interests include acne, inflammatory skin disease, and early skin cancer detection and treatment. Her practice focuses on medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She was named Annapolis Top Doc by What’s Up? Magazine for 2021-2022, 2023-2024, and 2025-2026.

Dr. Sutherland currently lives in Annapolis with her husband and their two daughters and son. They also have a chocolate Lab named Pheobe, a Cavapoo named Prince, and two cats, Beauty and Beast. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, golfing, and being on the water.

Dr. Natalia Biles is a board-certified dermatologist. Dr. Biles was born and raised in Bethesda, Maryland. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Economics and Pre-Medical Sciences from Columbia University in New York, NY. She received her medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons where she graduated at the top of her class with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. She completed her Internal Medicine internship at the University of Maryland Medical Center and then completed her Dermatology residency at Johns Hopkins.
Dr. Biles received the Top Doc Award for the greater Annapolis area in 2023-2024 and 2025-2026, recognizing her as a top doctor and dermatologist in the area.
Dr. Biles professional interests include skin cancer prevention, screening and treatment, adult and teenage acne, psoriasis, eczema, hair loss and all diseases of the skin. Her goal is to provide the highest quality, patient-centered care available and she greatly enjoys the challenge of personalizing her medical, surgical, and cosmetic expertise for each patient.
She is a first-generation Venezuelan and is fluent in Spanish. In her free time Dr. Biles loves to stay active running and hiking, and she also loves cooking and spending time with her family.

Alex Crosswhite is a certified Physician Assistant who brings a well-rounded background and a patient-centered approach to the Dockside Dermatology team. A proud graduate of James Madison University, she earned her Bachelor of Science with honors and a minor in Medical Spanish while competing as a Division I lacrosse player. She went on to complete her Master of Health Science and Physician Assistant certification at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
She began her career as a Physician Assistant in orthopedic surgery, where she gained valuable experience in the operating room and patient care. In 2021, she transitioned to dermatology, where she found her true passion. She is experienced in both adult and pediatric general dermatology, including total body skin exams, skin cancer detection, acne management, rashes, molluscum, warts, and more. While she loves working with patients of all ages, she particularly enjoys working with children and infants! With her surgical background, she also has expertise in dermatologic procedures and minor surgeries.
Since joining Dockside, she has expanded her skills into cosmetic dermatology under the mentorship of Dr. Sutherland. She now offers cosmetic services such as laser treatments, microneedling, chemical peels, and PRP for hair restoration. She loves helping patients of all ages feel confident in their skin and values the long-term relationships she builds with them.
Originally from Howard County, MD, she now lives in Severna Park with her husband and three children. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, attending sporting events, being outdoors, and spending quality time with her family.

Rachel Midwinter grew up in Annapolis, Maryland and earned her bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from James Madison University. Following graduation, she began her career as a medical assistant in a dermatology practice, where she discovered her passion for dermatological care. It was during this time she had the privilege of assisting a distinguished dermatologist and Johns Hopkins Clinical Professor, where she acquired invaluable skills and knowledge. This solidified her desire to pursue a career in dermatology. Rachel furthered her education at Shenandoah University, earning a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. During her studies, Rachel’s compassion for those in need led her to participate in a medical mission trip to Ghana, where she gained valuable experience in providing healthcare with limited resources.
After completing her education, Rachel began practicing as a Dermatology Physician Assistant in Virginia, where she became adept at diagnosing rashes and treating conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, warts, and screening for skin cancers. She is dedicated to helping her patients achieve healthy, radiant skin by providing a range of cosmetic treatments including botox, microneedling, and laser. Rachel is committed to upholding the highest standards of care for her patients.
She is licensed by the Maryland Board of Physicians, board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She is also a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants where she is completing a Diplomate Fellowship Program.
Outside of her professional life, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband in their hometown of Annapolis, Maryland. She is an avid runner and loves being outdoors hiking or out on the water. Rachel also enjoys traveling- her favorite trip being the month she spent in Thailand.
